Biography

Jim Corbett joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 2002. His practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation, including first-party insurance and bad-faith litigation, insurance coverage, premises liability and security, professional liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and general negligence. His clients have included individuals, large and small businesses, and various insurance companies.

Mr. Corbett is a member of numerous professional organizations, and he practices in all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Corbett received a B.A. degree in English from Texas A&M University in 1985 and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1992.
