Biography

Scott Patterson is a shareholder with the firm, where he has practiced since 1993. His practice involves a wide variety of civil litigation including professional liability, construction defect, commercial disputes, products liability, premises liability, and other personal-injury matters. He is a former Assistant District Attorney and has tried numerous criminal and civil cases to a jury verdict.

Mr. Patterson is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, and Texas Association of Defense Counsel.

Mr. Patterson obtained his B.A. degree (Economics) from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984. He obtained his J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in 1988. He has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest (AV) rating.
